Coaching Supervision with Maria Wade
A Reflective Space for Coaches Committed to Growth
Coaching can be a lonely craft.
We hold space for others, navigate complex dynamics, and juggle ethical nuances—all while often standing alone. Supervision changes that. It’s a space just for you—where you can bring your full coaching practice, dilemmas and all, and feel both challenged and supported.
And I’m inviting you into that space with me.
Why Choose Supervision with Me?
I’m Maria Wade, Master Certified Coach, creator of the Leadership Integrity Framework™, and senior executive development partner. Since 2017, I’ve been immersed in leadership coaching, helping senior leaders navigate complexity and uncertainty.
But here’s something I haven’t done alone: I’ve been under regular supervision throughout my coaching career. One-on-one, group, peer formats—they’ve sharpened my skills, deepened my insights, and guided me through the thorny, the messy, and the extraordinary moments that coaching brings.
Now, I’m stepping into the role of coach supervisor.
But not just any supervisor. I’m currently completing a rigorous Coaching Supervision Certification program, accredited by the European Mentoring and Coaching Council (EMCC) and recipient of the EMCC Supervision Quality Award (ESQA). This nine-month, 150-hour program includes intensive study, reflective practice, and supervision of supervisors. It integrates:
- The EMCC Supervision Competency Model
- The Seven-Eyed Model (Hawkins & Schwenk)
- Gestalt techniques, transactional analysis, and somatic practices
- Reflective exercises and creative tools like metaphor, bodywork, and imagery
This program runs through December 2025, and I’ve already welcomed 10 thoughtful applicants for my initial cohort.

What to Expect—and Not Expect—from Supervision
Even among experienced coaches, the distinction between supervision and mentoring is sometimes blurry. So let’s clarify:
🧭 What You Can Expect from Supervision:
- A reflective space to explore your work with clients
- Support in navigating ethical dilemmas and boundary questions
- A place to process what’s stirred up in you
- Insight into your patterns, blind spots, and growth as a practitioner
- Space to deepen your professional identity and presence
- Bonus: Up to 10 hours of supervision can be submitted as CCE education hours toward ICF credential renewal
🚫 What Supervision Is Not:
- It’s not a place to receive ICF mentor coaching hours
- It’s not a forum to practice coaching skills or prepare for credentialing
- It’s not a business development or marketing strategy session
If you’re looking for mentor coaching to fulfill an ICF requirement, this isn’t it. But if you’re ready to be held—not evaluated-in a space dedicated to your development as a thinking, feeling, and evolving coach, you’re in the right place.
Is This for You?
This offering is for active coaches who:
- Have a current coaching practice (supervision works best when grounded in real experiences)
- Are committed to delivering better service to their clients
- Are ready to reflect, unlearn, and grow
Whether you’re navigating executive boardrooms, complex team dynamics, or individual transformations—supervision can sharpen your practice and sustain your energy.
